There’s always been something incredibly appealing to me about a slower existence; about living in step with the seasons, not chasing after the latest and greatest in technology, and becoming more intentional with what I do and how I live. Until recently, these were all nice thoughts – something I’d get to eventually, when I had time to dedicate to it.
Then came 2020.
For me, just like for most, 2020 is a pivotal year. A year in which we use as a marker, highlighting important events in our lives as either before or after, pre or post. I am no different in this respect. It was through the occurrence of major life events, both joyful and tragic, all wrapped up in this year that would thrust my dreams of simple, quiet living to the forefront of my mind. Instead of dreaming, I started working.
And now you find me here; two years later, carefully crafting a more meaningful life for the family I so dearly love. There is still much to do and learn, and I am eager to share it all here with you.
