It’s a few days early, but here in the PNW we’re getting a small taste of Spring right now and it is absolutely lovely and so welcome.
With the sun shining brilliantly, temperatures between the mid sixties and mid seventies, and flowers beginning to bloom on the trees, Winter is definitely starting to retreat and give way to a new season. There are still undoubtedly several days of gray skies and rain ahead of us – but the brief peek into what ultimately lies ahead is so satisfying and encouraging.
This year, Spring looks a little different for us, as we’re trying our hands at cultivating a small herb garden. I’ve also got my sights set on brining in some flowers for our small balcony. I’m hoping as the season goes on, I’ll be able to share lots of flourishing beauties here.
In addition to gardening goals, I’m planning on trying a few new recipes that I hope to be able to share here with you – recipes featuring fresh fruits, bright flavors, and are of course, as beautiful as they are delicious.
I can wait to share all of this and more with you this Spring!
